Mzimkhulu Dyantyi - Artist

"My name is Mzimkhulu Dyantyi. I’m 24 years of age. I was born and raised in Cape Town, Khayelitsha. I’m a last born in the family. In 2013 finished my matric at Luhlaza High School, situated in Khayelitsha, Cape Town. I now currently work as a digital designer at M&C Saatchi Abel, based in the Cape Town office.

On my free time I practise contemporary arts. I create digital artworks and paintings on canvas.

 My first experiences as an artist was when I was out of High School.

My influences were old photography's from local artists that I came across on IG.

It was here that I realized that I wanted to pursue my career in this field.

I believe that being an artist is something that one is born to do and not learned at school, I went on to study through practical experience, learning through trial and error and self learning studying the works of the internet as my teachers.

It was here that I furthered expanded on my knowledge at Red and Yellow Creative School of Business, where I obtained my diploma in Graphics and design.  I work primarily in fine arts and digital."
